Never heard of a tree fern. Where was this picture taken? Beautiful...

Originally from Australia/New Zealand. These get imported to the uk. They cost about £20-£30 a foot. Some garden centres charge a lot more.
The victorians had lots in their large estate gardens. Found in abundance in the old gardens of the South West of England as they like the damp climate along with the warm weather.
These are in my garden which is in the south of England. They were planted when I moved here in June 06.
