I have been to Queens it is so different from Brooklyn where I stayed for the duration of my visit.

Hi Michaella, I was amazed that the area of Queens I was in looked so much like Brooklyn. Brooklyn really has become the "hot spot", but they both are changing. I live in NJ, about 20 minutes from NYC, and the view is similar, just from the opposite direction. It's a gift at sundown!

Nice familiar picture. One thing missing....twin towers. Never forget that day right poet?

No, can never forget...
What's interesting and REALLY aproprate to those of us that love gardening, is a quote from the architect Yamagasi (sp? ) who designed the Trade Centers, and died in 1986 before they fell -
He said this:
"As an architect, if I had no economic or social limitations, I'd solve all my problems with one-story buildings. Imagine how pleasant it would be to always work and plan spaces overlooking lovely gardens filled with flowers."
here, here!
