Fragaria vesca (Wild Strawberries)

My favourite fruit of all time. It makes my mouth water just thinking about them. The fresh chopped leaves make a wonderful light tea. The plant prefers light (sandy), medium (loamy) and heavy (clay) soils, but they should be well-drained, kept moist but not soden. The plant lives in most soils acid, neutral and basic (alkaline). It wil grow in semi-shade (light woodland) or no shade.
