A n old tree that is quite bare I've tried to make interesting

It is very interesting Maryd...I would be tempted to plant a climber under it... a clematis perhaps, even two..and let them scramble up through it...:>)

good idea it is quite bare when you look at the overall picture.
Normally my eye is to the ground looking for weeds! Thanks for the tip
