im not sure what they are newfienurse.... theres lots growing on the beach top.. must like the sandy stony soil....

Yes they would go round your pond nicely.... i thought the same about mine and took a little cutting and planted it round the pond....

These are great, called Erigeron.."alpinus"...the common name is Fleabane...I have lots of these in my garden and every year they get better...they look lovely growing over the edge of a wall where they will hang to the ground.....
