Alium aflatunense

just starting to open as 'Purple sensation' is going over.

Thanks for advice on not watering my agapantha too much; I will keep that in mind. I don't have much luck with Alium. This ones a beauty.

Now I know the name of my plants at the bottom of my garden. Mine are a lovely Purple colour.
They still look nice with just the seed heads.

purple sensation is very similar but a deeper/richer purple.
the seed heads are great and the goldfinches love them too.
