I'm thrilled to see all these foxgloves that seem to be growing in the shade. How shady is it?

These are Bi-annuals. They grow one year and then flower the next. Lots of seeds and the insects/ bees love them. Traditonally a woodland plant so they have a mixture of sun and shade. They like woodland soil so plenty of leave mulch.
The seeds you can then just sprinkle around and watch them grow. There are plenty of different variaties out there.
