This flowered for me earlier this year and when that spike finished flowering it popped out 3 more flower spikes that are just opening :))

Aw thanks! It's blooming like mad right now! Would not flower for me at first, I moved it to a brighter spot and POW! Flowers galore! Funny, because the plant itself doesn't look as healthy to me, but if it's flowering then it's happy!

Some plants flower more prolifically when under stress.
I can't remember who did the study but someone showed that mamals breed at a greater rate when starving as opposed to when they are well fed.
