Now just waiting for the yellow ones to bloom.

It was probably nothing you did. These did really well for us this year (planted them late last spring), but the ones the guy I bought them from has (he sells perennials from his garden beds) didn't do nearly as well. His yellow ones did almost nothing, and the yellow ones we bought from him earlier this spring are already doing better than his.
On the flipside, we lost more than half of our grasses, which were already established. It's strange.

Thanks..I find that a bad experience with a plant like this just makes me pass it over next year..Maybe I should give them another go, they are lovely flowers.

These do look very much like the ones in my garden, I think they must be Siberian Irises too!

The flowers on our two clumps didn't get much taller than the leaves, but I've seen other people's that rose almost a foot higher.

I planted 50 of these last spring or fall before, not sure. Only got a few blooms last year and this year NOTHING, not even foilage. Not sure what I have done wrong.
