And fading so fast.

That's the only aspect of lilies that I'd like to change...they don't last as long as I would like... but since you mentioned that you had potted them...you could buy more bulbs and pot them up in two week intervals in early spring...so they will bloom over a period of time instead of all at once! My stargazer lily shoots were eaten off by the wild rabbits...they must taste as good as they smell!
