This grows from tubers, and spreads. Grows to about 3 feet high in late summer here with loads of little green balls that turn burgundy..Anyone know what it is?

Have you seen this particular plant? I haven't seen it anywhere before, and am not sure how I got it. But I do like it and it's staying.

Newfie, if there's one thing you should learn, it's not to ask trick questions.

I'm glad you termed it "trick" versus stupid!
I'm beginning to catch on, Toto....lol...

I wouldn't be so rude as to suggest that you are stupid Newfie, especially as that is my title and I don't want to share it with anyone.

I'm betting you could be very generous, when need be :P

Don't you believe it Newfie. I am very self centred and wouldn't share anything with anyone. I am the original Scrooge. Bah humbug.

Sounds like Monarda maybe? I'm finding there are more form of it than I thought. A strong fragrance to the plant, one I really like. I'm waiting to see a whole season of mine to understand them better. Looks like mint family but that red ball.....lol, bergamot.
