Are you sure, Jangue? The leaves look glossy and Philadelphus leaves are soft and non-glossy. Doesn't look right. What are the flowers like??

OH, now I am wondering... It has white flowers in spring and then again late summer. For some reason I was convinced it was but must be wrong - I will do a bit of research! Thanks for the info

It isn't a Choisya, is it? Are the leaves aromatic and the flowers in clusters?
