Large white but not a brighte dead white it has a maroon centre and now that it is going over I can see it is going to have a creamy goldy tinged seed head.

To come back to this Clematis I have now found the definate name for it in a book I had written it in when I bought it!! It is called Snow Queen and the seed pods look as though they have been sprayed with Gold paint. beautiful. So it is not the Miss Bateman which we had almost decided it must be.

Agreed Sbg I was gutted I had lost the label. You notice I have been quiet lately, busy in the garden! my Nolana are beautiful in the hanging baskets and in the window sill boxes. Been busy photographing all my Clematis and roses for Catalouging determind not to lose labels again!
