Yes! they get an unheated greenhouse, insulated with bubblewrap all winter and then are outside all summer. They do get regular nitrogen feeds.
We have a large grey one outside on my 'herb bank' - steep subsoil! which is doing well - a variegated one succumbed to the damp! We find that regular feed and watering - but NEVER to let them stand in water is the key.

Mine have the same treatment i.e. cold greenhouse with bubble wrap, outside in the sunshine. But I have not given them a Nitrogen feed.
I will this spring.
