thanks all. :-) and that clematis really is a beauty, i think i will propergate it if i can and grow one up the white lilac tree, would look stunning there, flowering just after the lilac.

I was wondering which Clematis it is???

Wish i knew Spritz, i bought it when i first moved in here in that little shop i often talk about, QD stores, and i did'nt keep the lable, i must say it is the best clematis i have. it really is stunning, and so easy and hassle free.... i did look it up and the closest i could find in my books is 'Jackmanii rubra' but on closer inspection i don't think that is right..... however earlier in the year i was back in QD stores and a saw another one very simular to this on the picture, with the lable 'Ville de Lyon'... so obviously i bought one...purely for research reasons ofcourse ;-) and i have planted that on one of the other trellises, so will wait and see if it is the same when it flowers.
