Yours is a standard willow, isn't it, Angie? Does it prefer shade/semi-shade or sun? I keep coming back to this shrub, and wonder if it would 'fit' into the new project??

i just bet it would... i have simular colours in this bed to what you are planning...and i have both a standard and a bush planted together, they are slightly different, the standard is known as a flamingo tree, and it has catkins in the early spring, i know it is obviously Salix but i don't know the full proper name i had thought it could be a S. integra 'Hakuro Nishiki' which would be the same as the bush that i have, but i don't think they have catkins...my one never has had them, but they are very simular apart from that, they look really good planted together.. in all honesty they really do make this bed....
