Filled with various types of sunflowers. I planted lots in there so I can whip out the obviously inferior ones before they bloom.
I have Kong, Moonshadow, Giganteus, and Velvet Queens in here.

I have begrudgingly given you a like as I'm not sure what sort of person would mutilate a whiskey barrel! What happened to the whiskey. You need to show some respect Newfie.

Yes, Irish, I hope so, may take a couple of months or so for any blooms though.
Don't worry, Toto...I only drink beer :D but plants would not do well in the bottles so I bought a few of these...lol.

Great idea! (I mean the barrel, not the drinking...) I used to work for a brewery and we still had a genuine barrel maker on the staff before they changed over to the metal kegs - fascinating to watch him work.

GOing to be a great displa. I hadn't thought of sunflower in the barrel. It brilliant!
