it's lovely to see your pond from start to finish, a job well done!

thanks weeding, i started digging it in September of last year, the wrong time really, i got down to about 30" and hit red clay and i mean red clay the spade just bounced off it, then it started to rain and rain and rain, i managed to drain it out and put the liner in and fill it with water and then we had the worst winter in years, but now it,s finished i,m rather pleased with it, its not perfect but apart from the slabs around the edge it was all my own work.

thanks Bobq, by the way the ducks started as a joke, my husband made some remarks about watching ducks don,t land in it and while i was out shopping i seen these ducks in a local shop in the end of season sale and put them in the pond while he was out.

Ha ha ha brilliant love it, I like anything like that, my wife has bought me two birds to put on the brackets of the hanging baskets, I must take a couple of pics and post them. :o)))
