I had an old bookcase I was about to chop up, decided to line it with plastic, fill with broken terracotta pieces ,filled with compost and planted my veggies. So far so good, they are coming on well. Waste not, want not LOL

We shall see if it really is Irish, if and when the plants come up. I have two Guinea Pigs and a Rabbit and part of the proceeds, if any, are to feed them and myself.

I am an avid recycler, I tell everone off if they don't put it in the right bin, and I always try to find uses for anything before I throw it away. Mookins has a good blog on Freecycling go take a look. :o)
