Although it is fairly impressive, I'm still a bit disappointed with this one. It's well below registered height, and the colour is darker than described at time of purchase. Could be ground conditions. I'll see what it does next year.

Mine is this dark shade this year too Bgb and I haven't changed the soil in any way.Could be weather conditions as we didn't get a lot of sun early on in the year .Mine is the same height tho .

Thanks Aster. Perhaps the nursery's description was off, re. the colour. Perhaps it will reach registered height next year , when it's a 3yo.

I think it is a lovely colour BBB, maybe next year it will go a deeper shade. Nothing is ever exactly the colour you expect is it?
