So surprised the blackbirds haven't found them ...yet. The tree is 7 yrs old and its the first time we've had a real crop.

Ah, Kentish cherries are the best. One of the things I miss (along with Kentish strawberries, saveloy & chips, hop fields and Shepherd Neame). Sigh ..... :-))

And I forgot to mention birdwatching on the North Kent marshes - Skylarks and Yellow Wagtails in the Summer and the bleak, but beautiful quiet of Winter. Double sigh ..... :-))
