Dry Garden At Hyde Hall

Dry Garden At Hyde Hall

This dry garden at RHS Hyde Hall Gardens has certainly improved and looks much more established since I last visited 3 years ago. Probably, mainly, due to the Verbascum self seeding thenselves around!

I have often wondered what go well with Verbascum, are those herbs at its feet?

I can't think for the life of me BIX,what they are. They do look like Thyme or Oregano or some sort of herb don't they? I have similar Verbascum in my garden and grow them with grasses but I also think they look good with Sea Hollies(Eryngium)
