:-) Any chance you caught the name of the purple flowers center right? I though they were french lavender but the plant looks very different.

It looks like Liatris, but i wouldnt be sure....Ill post a close-up pic on 'gardening questions' and maybe some of our friends will help.. ok Greent?

I like the look of those too. Thought they were sea-pinks (thrift) at first, but they seem rather large unless they've developed a supersized variety.
