I really like the pillar or pedestal in the background. What is the round green plant ?

thank you! it is actually a bronze coloured pot, Mike, my mum donated it to my garden cause last year. i have no idea where she got it from but the plant she had in it had finished, and she is not really a gardener, so she gave it to me. and as if by magic, my mother-in-law gave me a small Box ball around the same - so i married them! lol quite a nice combo. and it is standing on the stump of an old apple tree that we had removed last year, - you cant see this as we had it cut right down to ground level - but it makes a great base for it.
