I think this is 'Multiblue, Angie - I have seen them and they are almost like a double flower with that 'ruff' in the middle!.

not tesco Milky, QD stores,,,, bit like a pound shop, but do lots of stuff for the garden. and yes, it does look very ruffeled particually in the middle and as the flower matures the middle bit gets bigger and more spidery... i think it flowers twice as well like some of the others i was telling you about... later in the year the flowers are double...

I saw one at B&Q a while back, I thought it was a lovely one! I'm still thinking where to plant my new 'Princess of Wales' and then I got a baby texensis as a freeby, too, so I'll be growing that on. Hmmm. Have I got a tiny space for more? I shall have to go out and take a look....not today, though - it's tipping it down and blowing a gale!

We don't have QD here anywhere - Is is an Essex store?

I think it proberly is a one off to be honest, (QD that is) i am not awear of any others... it is quite a big 2 story shop though with garden stuff down stairs and home funiture, pictures, bed linen etc up stairs. Brooke loves going in there as they have a really old fashoned glass lift in the centre of the store, that is just a platform inside a glass box, that moves up and down as you hold the button down...of course she likes to do that bit..lol and yes i am sure you can find room... i have princess of Wales too, was just taking some pic's today... managed to get camera working for a bit :-) it likes to sprawl out in the beds and make its way up through your shrubs and perennials not so keen on climbing... good luck with keeping it on a trellis... if that is what you are doing with it ofcourse... i acually like the way it moves around everywhere, i have managed to train some of it up the trellis, and i have allowed some to sprawl out through the beds, you keep getting a cute little pink bell popping up through the undergrowth. I really like it. although it did'nt flower the first year at all...but its certainly making up for it this year! :-)
