lucky suirrels. these are on a path near me. ill have to go pick them. i read yesterday that you have to eat the green ones soon after picking and store the brown ones. is this true?

What can I do with them all Sandra? I saw that my local greengrocer is charging £1.50 a pound for them. I must have at least 50 lbs. Can't find much in the way of hazelnut receipes so maybe I'll just share them with the squirrel.
