DD - they want the sunniest, most sheltered spot you've got. This was planted in autumn 2006, and only started flowering a couple of years ago. It's now got to the stage where it needs controlling

It does have our sunniest spot and sheltered too, it is about three ft tall and looks very healthy, obviously one to wait for.........again!!

If it's looking healthy, then it's obviously happy and should reward you in its own time. I know mine looked sorry for itself after that very cold winter three years ago, but since then it hasn't looked back

wow. stunning! However, doubtful I will ever grow it, would never remember the name lol! It reminds me a little of the Silk Tree I saw in Aus.
