I've never seen this written about, but the local pigeon population will do anything to get at the berries of my amelanchier. Watching them trying to figure out how to get to the berries at the end of the branch will keep you amused for hours.

They do the same with the flowers on the black locus tree that over hangs my garden Andrew I don't find them amusing as they mess all over my path at the same time which makes it that I can not get into my garden.
