One of the cobra lily family. For moist, humus-rich, neutral to acid soil, in a cool partially shaded site (although this one will take more sun than most of the others)

Klahanie - yes, they are copper, and they do deter slugs and snails very effectively

I put a copper wire around some of mine dahlias which slugs love but somehow they manage to munch on them anyway. These look like a better protection.

Are these rings because of slugs ? Copper?
