I love my wild areas and they do pop up all over. I knew them as adder root as a child.

I think they have a really quiet beauty, and A. italicum 'Pictum' has lovely foliage too, bit early yet but it runs everywhere as well.

Arn't these wild arum lillies fab, We used to call them snake food when we were children. I have them popping up in my shrubbery everywhere, I have not got the heart to weed them out I love them, although I must say they are spreading a little quickly these days! They are lovely with the ferns, I love what I call the wild bits in my garden.
