Camassia leichtlinii/Quamash - May 2009

Camassia leichtlinii throws up spires of bluish/purple flowers, with the blooms opening up from the bottom to the top. I've got mine in a fairly dry bit of ground and they seem quite happy - only problem the foliage is quite a mess until it dies back down.
