Cerinthe Major 'Purpurescens'

I expected the flowers more blue/purple-ish, but mine are in mid-purple with hint of yellow stripes (?)
On top of that, I love "metaric-blue-ish" leaves more than the flowers, to be honest.
It is very difficult to capture the colour by my digital camera, but it is really stunning with naked eyes.....

What else?
See who else is growing Cerinthe major (Honeywort).
See who else has plants in genus Cerinthe.

The colour is far better in autumn germinated/spring blooming plants. Also does better grown in the ground.
