The leaves look a bit like columbine, which is what kept me from weeding it out of the border. This is one of the reasons my gardens are so raggedy looking - I just have to wait & see what every little new growth turns out to be, lol! Almost all of it is nothing I want of course, & twice as hard to eradicate by then, but every now & then a nice surprize like this comes along...

Thanks for the photo.! I just planted some of these today. I received some seeds last year from a gardener in Germany and I just got around to starting the seeds this year, I love yellow flowers and the foliage appears to be full and has a fancy looking leaf pattern.
