Only planted this a couple of years ago but it is establishing well. I once saw a plant of this about eight feet by eight feet and covered in bloom - hope mine does as well

Hi Andrew, This is an interesting Clematis... I have seen "Stolwijk's Gold" in a catalogue and the flower is much the same but the foliage is a golden colour... I'm wondering (since my climate is rather extreme) if the combinations it took to get the yellow foliage are as hardy as I need? perhaps I should be looking for 'Frances Rivis'? I'm in N.A., zone 5 (USDA) I really like this flower form.
