I have never known my plant to have so many flowers as this year

Sue - having checked my old pictures, it seems the flowering period can vary by about four weeks, depending on the weather. For example, 28th March in 2017 and 22nd April in 2018

3d - it has never been cut back. Every year I think I must do it, and every year I forget. I don't usually get many flowers either, so this year's display is a real bonus

Thank you Andrew I won't cut mine back any more.

Thanks Andrew, location and planting aspect probably has something to do with variation in flowering time per plant.
