Lily-of-the-valley is an irksome plant. Either you can't get it started, or you can't stop it! Grow in humus-rich soil in full or part shade. And it runs (including under paving).

I can't stop mine...came from next door...I have transferred a few in shady areas in other parts of the garden....off they go...non failed me yet...I am very happy :))

I love this plant. Have some too. Somehow I do not mind it running. I pick it up, pull it out and it is still there for me .
