Cordyline (Cordyline australis (New Zealand cabbage palm))

Started to flower earlier this week.....it has eight of these panicles, so I'll take another pic when they're all out....starlings can't wait for the berries!

Lucky you Phil. How old is it - or should I say, how old was it before it first flowered.

I'd guess it's about 12 now.....first flowered 4 or 5 years ago.

Last year was a good year for these flowering a lot flowered that have never before, also more flowers were reported more than ever before.

I'm hoping mine flowers this time, maybe I could see signs at the beginning of May then?

I think this one started mid to late June....suppose it depends on the weather!
