This is one of a group of plants I am growing from the 'Penza' strain; there are also blue- and pink-flowered forms

That is a good White better than Solida Alba i grow.
Have you grown them from seed as you have different colours.

No Bjs, I bought a collection of ten plants. Now I'm just waiting for them to self sow to see what else turns up

Andrew i will be interested to know if they set seed in the open Several others will but not seen solida do so in my garden,the corms multiply .
I found when growing them in the alpine house the best way to pollinate them was to open the centre of the flower ,a bit like opening the centre of an Antirrhinum and it releases the pollen.
