I wasn't sure about corydalis, when I first joined Goy, but they're starting to grow on me.

I was only aware of the large yellow corydalis which grows like a weed in my daughters former garden. These smaller versions suitable for rockeries or troughs are much better behaved.

A few crocus, some mini-daffs & some corydalis planted up in a pot or two, yeah, I'll try that for next spring.
Thanks, Scotsgran!

These have the added attraction that most disappear after flowering and pop up again near flowering time next year. If you plant them you need to mark their position so that you don't dig them up by mistake.
