Most plants in our garden flowered like mad Linda in the heat, and now it looks very dull. I have been dead heading like crazy to try and coax the penstemons back into flower.

Me too Dorjac. I Google how to deadhead all the different flowers every day. I have been taking cuttings from my Penstemons. It is lovely when the new growth comes in. I cut back my Geraniums to the ground Dorjac.

Well, dinner was put on hold as I rushed out to deadhead my Lysimachia punctata.......they cause a lot of trouble if they self seed. :0)))

Hi Linda, I always thought 'sweet william' flowered late spring to early summer, not seen any that flower at this time of year before, Derek.
