Dianthus carthusianorum - 2017

Specie dianthus with small pink flowers carried on wiry stems two to three feet tall, over tussocks of basal foliage. This is never going to make its mark in a mixed order, but in a meadow planting it will add spots of bright pink among the grasses. Poor, well-drained soil and full sun.
