I've grown this from HPS seed before. They are lovely plants.

I have started a scree garden.. one thing I have plenty of is rock (small to medium stones and gravel). dianthus should be a staple but can't get it to last more than one season. like that deep red.

Lori, i don't think Dianthus are that long lived, but hopefully they seed themselves easily.

I'm sure to find one that likes my patch, just have to keep looking. dianthus and columbine ... can't get them to go for me!

What else?
See who else is growing Dianthus deltoides (Dianthus Brillant).
See who else has plants in genus Dianthus.
