Good job! Perhaps a fluorescent shop light will help get them thru the winter. I have some lettuce & chives seedlings under one now and they're doing pretty good so far. : )

Dierama should have no problem surviving your winters. This past winter (South Africa 2010) we had some of the most severe black frost in 12 years and none of my dieramas was affected.

What else?
See who else is growing Dierama pulcherrimum (Angel's fishing rod).
See who else has plants in genus Dierama.

One of my successes this year. I bought a Dierama pulcherrimum from a Croydon market in full flower this summer – not something I was seeking in particular, but I was looking for ‘grassy’ plants for next year. In the beginning of September I harvested the ripe seeds and test sowed 10 straight away – well this proves 100% success, although – how to get them through the winter is the next task! I don't hold out much hope for the one on the bottom left though!
