Princettia

By Naoto

Princettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima (Poinsettia))

Pink leave version of Poincettia which had been badly dried out and became half price from my local Waitrose.

The problem is that I can't let it grow well - I always keep it in the darkness between 17:00pm and 8:00am starting in September until December in the sunny room, but the leaves always start falling off around at Christmas time - in other words, it just manages to survive each year.....

Wow! And yet it looks so healthy! Does it get too cold perhaps?

Agree they need warmth to make the new bracts Mine this year came around February but not as large as the nurserys get them.

Well....I'll try put it in the kitchen or bathroom this year - they need to be above 15c and start falling leaves below 10c (according to one of Japanese gardening sites)

And off course - I'll put it in the darkness between 17:00pm and 8:00am, starting the next month.
