I love this! Is that a pink salvia or veronica in front. Lovely colour match and different shape.

They are both very large, but I just love them......you can see I like the big guys Tetrarch.

Im coming around to that way Linda, tho its not the height that bothers me, its the circumference..half a dozen wide ones would fill one of my borders! One of the reasons I like thalictrum, not too much ground space but lots of airy flowers and tall..how much ground space does filipendula take? It would look nice growing thro my Tickled Pink rose and cover the unsightly legs of it (they are almost as bad as mine! lol)
