Poor plants don't know where they are this year!! We've got early summer flowerers back in bloom so maybe your Ash will get it's Autumn coat by Valentines day? :S

Our other (weeping) ashes are the last to get their leaves in the spring, and the last to lose them in the autumn, so maybe it's just being normal?? (I hope) :-)
