I split the main plant back in spring - it was getting bit too big for my tiny space - left myself tiny bit - and it decided to flower - now.... :)

they are very unusual, aren't they? And yes, I've seen plants growing in proper conditions, by the edge of the pond - and those flowers were gigantic.
