Amy - it's a small plant for moist shade, coming from woodland habitats. My RHS 'bible' says it gets to no more than 12 inches across.

We bought this lovely plant from a Nurseries in Wales about 20 years ago!! after visiting Powis Castle, there is also a very attractive variegated form, lost it in the move South....too hot! well worth searching for....
