In any other circumstances,it would be nice to have deer in the garden.

I do not mind them and I am trying to grow plants they do not favour. I thought the iris was one of them, that is why I was surprized.

I have a nice clump of these. And yesterday I went to make a photo of them and all the blooms were gone.
I was shocked. I have lots of irises (including the blue Siberian )and have never had a problem with deer. They do not like them ....but they like this one. Just the blooms though, they left the rest of the plant alone. They do that with daylilies too.
