Yes, very easy. It's better to find someone else who grows it as they always have a few seedlings.

You could be the first and then recoup the cost by selling seedlings from yours then :-)

We don't grow this one any more because of the seedlings....but we do grow the yellow...... which has never thrown any up as yet!!

I will try it (if I can still find it) it is listed as deer resistant.

DD - I found the yellow (leycesteria crocothyrsos) disappointing. Flowers too small for the size of the plant to make much impact.

Now that is strange they are quite large here......not sure if it is still flowering......will check and put on a pic....
